About me-since it dosent fit in the about me section!1200 characters is too less!
My name's Svetlana, and a lot of people have this difficulty in pronouncing it,which is pretty annoying!I've been born in Mumbai but brought up in this place called Doha,Qatar, well im sure half of you people havent heard about this place, well its a small Country in the Middle East.I've spent four years of my life in a Boarding School in Panchgani and those were the finest years of my life. But all this dosent really explain who i really am.Well this ME,im this down to earth, uncomplicated and unpretentious person atleast thats what i would like you think i am.I am i die hard fan of cricket and enjoying all kinds of sports!I love getting pampered:).I initially come across as someone who is very quiet which consequently makes people think i have an attitude problem, its only when they actually get to know me they realise im actually nothing like that.I'm passionate about travelling and i wish i could travel all around the world some day.I love dealing with people, and hate people who are too self-centered and think that they own the world, its seriously a huge turn-off.Im a bon vivant of good food.Im a chocoholic and will have my heart melted if anyone gave me a chockie!i have a sweet tooth and love all sorts of deserts.I like being alone sometimes thinking and pondering over things about myself, thats something i do often.Well i guess i'll cut it short here now!:)

Love Actually
I love the beginning monolouge of the movie!
Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspision love actually is all around......

Sunday
Another weekend has come to an end.And Monday is a day i dread. After a nice cozy weekend, getting back to college makes me all gloomy. But Sunday is one day in the whole week i devote all to myself, rather pampering myself. Its a day i make time for myself than others(i know im sounding a little too selfish but i dont really care).I got up at 2 in the afternoon, rather was got back to reality from my dream land by the sound of the tv in which Sachin get outs in the most horrible manner!I'd rather not think about it.I like the sunday's since all i do in laze around and it just feels so good, especially when im not bounded by any of my project work.I spent the rest of the afternoon watching the cricket match India vs Australia(the tri-series).India was off to a good start, but due to the rain the match ended in a draw,i did see a chance of them winning though you can never predict a match India is playing beacause they can be worse than a women's mood swings!
As i just lazing around,i realised i had my Christian duty to do which was to go visit the church and attend the mass, which i've made it a point to do every sunday. And so i rushed to the Church which is just fifteen minutes walk but since it was a "ALL PAMPERING DAY TO ME" i caught a cab and reached there in no less that five minutes. The Church is one place where i'd find all the peace on earth. One of my good friend's from college,Sagar accompanied me to church since he'd never been to one and wanted to know what it was like. After that we went to the beach and it the weather was lovely,i prefer the winters to the sweaty summers. And not im home with nothing much to do really.I got a week off since my college festival's on.:)So this Monday is another Sunday for me and so will the following week!:D
